Introduction
Reaching 1500W DC output (1600W peak), the Strider ST1500 is effectively at the limit of what an internal PC power supply can achieve in terms of wattage rating. For SilverStone, getting to this maximum power was only part of the goal for a consumer-level power supply so every desirable feature know were added to create a dream product. This thing is a beast. Not even breaking a sweat with my i7 980x , 3x GTX480's , a gtx285 for physX, Raid card,sound card, optical SSD drives and 2 watercooling loops.

Great psu, I ran out of power on my HX850, so I went with this. I love it, tons of power, great cable lengths, big and heavy. The cables are so long might be a problem in smaller cases (but who would use this big of a psu in a small case?). PSU itself is massive, and again might not fit in some cases, but again who would have a small case with this?
