Bjorn3D review: Corsair makes some of the best PSU's, and have always combined sheer power with great efficiency. The is modular and outputs 70A on a single 12v rail. It will be your PSU for a very long time.

really good for a gtx 660ti i'd love it easy to install it is a good product I recommand it for every one who build a gaming desktop with big video card.and good looking device

Despite the short 8-pin connector and the handful of non-modular cables this is all-around a spectacular PSU. Although I just got it, my old Corsair HX520 has lasted absolutely fine for over 5 years now and is still kicking. Corsair builds excellent, high-quality stuff; you can really feel the quality of this thing.

I preferred this over the Seasonic M12 850W, I have both. Have enough 6+2pins for two, three videocards. Good build and feel heavy, the modular connections are flat, not braided. The CPU 8pin connector length is adequate but too short if you want to run behind the case. Include and extension for the 8pin would be nice.

Having purchased and used a Corsair HX620 from NCIX.com in the past I had no hesitation in purchasing the HX850. My HX620 has never given me any problems for that last 4 years so I was confident that the HX850 would meet all my needs for the next 4 with its power and stability.

This PSU is everything I think I will ever need, I just needed something to replace my OCZ 700W when I dropped in a second 5870. The PSU is build solid, the cables are just the right length for my 650D, the fan is silent, and I can tell this unit is gonna last a long time.
My major complaint is the modular cables. They are not sleeved, but rather a ribbon type arrangement. This is problematic in two ways: The 24pin, 8pin, and 2x6+2pin cords perminately attached to the PSU are sleeved and look nothing like these cables. Next, The modular PCI-e cables are horrible. The eight wires are run in two sets of 4, so they come apart in the middle, and they have this stupid cylindrical object near the card-side of the cable.

It has been powering my system and it is running cool and silent. with the modular cables, easier to manage. No more excess cables to hide! And also it looks nice inside my case. This will last me years of upgrading.

Perhaps the most over looked piece of hardware in your pc is the psu. Don't cheap out on this item it will bite you on the behind, guaranteed. Corsair makes some of the best psu out there and this one is no exception. An absolute piece of art. The modular cables are a must for cable management and helps with air circulation as well. 850 watts of pure power. and must for any serious gamer.

Very quiet psu with tonnes of power. I'm running an i7 920 at 4ghz, gigs of ram, gtx 470 sli asus xonar dx on an asus rampage II extreme. Also have 6 hhds hooked up with varios other peripherals. This psu runs all that dead silent. I'm not a fan of the flat cables though as they take a little managing to look nice and clean. Case is an antec skeleton. I would highly recommend this psu!

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
