I Price matched this and got it for 40 bucks. Its really good and always gives me a 300 speed all the time. I don't know what people rated it soo bad. It acually is really good. it doesn't disconnect for me and yaa. Althought there isn't much of a difference over dual band than single.
I have this paired with a dir-825 router.

5 bars of signal strength, bouncing between 216-243Mbps at the moment at 5Ghz. Using it with a D-Link DIR-825 dual N-band router. Using the extension/cradle sitting up high on the desk about 6 ft away from the router on the other side of a wall.
After owning G routers (both D-Link and Linksys and one crappy Retail Plus N model) I'm happy to say that I've finally emabraced wireless as a standard. I was never impressed with wireless (atleast in my house) which is odd because I live on a very remote farm with wind and space all around me for miles (zero interference) and I always had issues with signal strength.
