TG-3269 is a 10/100/1000Mbps, 32-bit 33/66MHz PCI-bus Gigabit Ethernet adapter. With single UTP/STP and the Auto-Negotiation (Nway) function support, the Card can auto-negotiate 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1000Mbps speed, and half or full duplex mode with its link partner (a hub, for example). Supports ACPI, compliant with PCI2.2. Full range of drivers are provided for major Operating Systems

I bought this card to fit with my new switch Giga. There is no reason to change a 100Mo card for this new one for about 14$ on sale !!! Absolutly no problem yet.

Most people will be fine using a regular PCI slot for this card, but some may not. I don't mind, and the card works perfectly. Easy to install, and handles all my gigabit networking without any issues. PMed this card also, so I was able to get it for real cheap.

Bought from BestDirect. Drivers were not working, needed to find that it was a Realtek chip and found out that I needed the driver for that version of the chip.

My Temporary-permanent name 02/05/10 Experience: 1 Months
5 bucks, threw it in my order for the hell of it. I'm planning on building a pfsence P3 box soon, so it may come handy. Don't expect top speeds or lowest latency with this one, it's very basic and meant for tight budgets. $5!!!! wouldn't pay any more than $5 for it though :P

Price matched for half that price, can't get much better than this for 10$. Upgrade my GF's PC with this and now browsing music library from our WHS is, well, 10 times faster.

Great little Gigabit NIC for $18. I usually purchase the Intel 1000GT for PCI applications but this is just a simple setup that did not require the high end Intel card.
There is not much to be said about a network card. As long as it works. This particular one seems to be working perfectly with my current Ubuntu setup. That is why I bought this. I can't complain.
