Silverstone's Olympia series PSUs are designed to deliver maximum power with simply and efficiently. Instead of bumping up cost and complexity by using multiple +12V rails, the OP800 has 1 extremely robust 70A rail. The Active PFC and >80% efficiency rating ensure that no power is wasted.
It's CrossFire Certified with 4x6-pin and 2x8-pin PCIe connectors. There are also 6 SATA connectors for all of your high speed drives. The cables are partially mesh sleeved to increase air flow and to make management easier.

I would rate this 1 star but my order ID is 4 days too old. This is the second Silverstone PSU I have had fail on me. This PSU didn't get used when I first bought it, but after I did start using it it failed in about 5 months. NCIX was helpful in sending my invoice to me so I could RMA it, but it's been just over a year since purchase and I am just going to recycle this thing and move on. I don't want to risk the rest of my system on another PSU that is of the same poor quality.

I bought this thing about a year ago as a back up. Decided to test drive it about 3 months ago and swapped it with the other PSU in the box. It worked fine until 1 day I was watching a youtube video that it suddenly died. While the unit was on its way back to Cali, I did a little more research and to my horror it was built by the same people behind the infamous OCZ EliteXstream. After reading many reviews of both the OL1000-P (can't find anything useful on the 850)and EliteXstream, I found that I am not alone. Many users experienced premature failure of these units. For the price paid, there are way better options out there. I received another 850-P from Silverstone in the mail this morning and am not confident that it would last any longer than the last. It is a shame Silverstone keeps pushing these defective units out the door. NCIX should do it's part by pulling them off the shelf.
