Easy to install, bios able to recognize the drive easily. No problem setup in raid, but I didn't really have the time to play with it for too long--just to see if it work.

Well what more can be said about WD blacks that hasn't been said already? They are fast drives and they have good reliability factor and the price point is competitie = all you can ask for in a drive. Got to worth 5 stars.

This is pretty much the apex of the cost/Gb/performance ladder. I get a windows index score of 5.9 under Win7 64 Pro and it seems to boot quickly and load programs fast. I am using one with an i7-920 system and one in an older core2duo setup and both have performed fine. I'll make the SSD leap once 25nm flash models come out and prices drop a bit but for the time being these are my go-to drives.

This is a great drive for the price, It is fast, reliable as all western digital products usually are, and It has tons of space. And with the western digital 5 year Warranty it is a huge plus.

Added 1 of these to my acer Easy Store H340 so far great drive no probs. Gets about 8C hotter than the green drives in that box but no other probs.

A frelling gigabyte for <$100... My previous 5 drives were Seagates, but with all the good word I decided to give this one a try. It's just as good if not superior. Fast, quiet and reasonably cold.

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Warranty length may vary per specific model. Western Digital Raptor and Caviar RE series enterprise drives are covered by a 5 year warranty. Caviar and Caviar SE desktop drives are covered by a 3 year warranty for OEM drives, and a 1 year warranty for Retail.
Warranty coverage for drives is covered by NCIX for the first thirty (30) days with the remainder of the warranty covered by Western Digital.
