Introduction
The SG02F, as the successor to the SG02 is an evolutionary step forward in both performance and the capabilities over the original Sugo chassis, the SG01. With the case now capable of handling even more powerful graphics cards than ever before, the SilverStone engineers were still able to keep the smaller dimension in tact. Although SG02F’s front panel design is unchanged from its predecessor, its styling and function continues to stand out from ordinary SFF designs. The same can also be said of its tried and true chassis layout, which is still capable of accepting larger ATX power supply or optical drives than other SFF cases available. Built based on a brand new steel structure, the SG02F is sure to please potential builders looking for primarily silent applications.

I really wanted to like this case but it didn't live up to my expectations. Silverstone enjoys a good reputation but they have not kept up with other case makers and their designs seem dated. This case, in particular, seems to waste a lot of internal space. That make the case too large for what it holds. That, combined with the steel construction and extra internal structure makes it a bit heavy. It's not possible to mount a 2.5" drive without some modding, not even with a bracket. I resorted to two sided tape. The fan placement is poor as well. Side mounted fans rarely work well and the fan placement is unnecessary with SSD drives. The two top/rear fan exhausts are a nice touch. They would be even better with fans included. Last, but not least, the location of the P/S is right above the CPU. That severely limits the size of the CPU cooler. In addition, the P/S fan and the CPU fan end up working against each other which limits their efficiency. The CPU gets quite hot under load due to this. Also, the hot CPU exhaust ends up going directly into the P/S intake. That's not good for longevity.

A tremendous case for the money - looks great and has plenty of room for a simple mATX setup. It's pretty light too, but this may be a reflection of how the price has been kept low with pretty skimpy construction. If I could make one change, it would be to incorporate a larger, slower fan.

This is a fantastic cube case for uATX boards. Like all smaller cases, there's a series of tradeoffs. In this case, there's no 120mm fan slots at all (my biggest gripe with this case), the CPU cooler can't be too big because it sits under the PSU, and some of the largest GPU's may be tricky to fit into the case.
I bought this case for my listening room as a network music player. It gets the job done, fairly roomy for a case this size. I would definitely recommend a modular power supply as there is little room to hide excess power cables. It looks fine, but definitely not the usual silverstone brushed aluminum front bezel, for the price, i can't complaint much. There's a lot of ventilation on the side with no filter, so dust is an issue on this case. Heat isn't an issue, the psu exhausts the heat from the CPU, while the 2 80mm on top keeps the expansion cards cool. The maximum height of CPU cooler can be used is around 90mm, so this does somewhat limit your choice of CPU coolers.

This is a nice looking case, if you like the SFF thing. It's roomy and and easy to work with. The real downside is that for a Silverstone, heck for any reputable brand, the quality control on this case is substandard. There was quite a number of edges that were not filed down properly, sharp enuf to cut if you're not careful. Also, the power supply mounting, I/O and expansion slot backplate didn't seem to have been riveted squarely. There was a slight bend on one side, and a couple of screw holes were out of alignment from the uneven torsion. I needed to bend/force metal to around the screw holes to fit the power supply and back I/O panel. Wasn't pleasant.
This has to be one of the best sff cases I have seen. The fact that it can fit full length video cards is a major selling point. The case has plenty of ventalation and I always get comments from people when I bring it to lan parties. I think it is the best lanbox you can get.

For the money this is a decent design. Very good case ventilation with the option for two additional case fans. Not too cramped to build within. Wish the front face was brushed aluminum like my Silverstone Lascala LC17B but for half the price I guess that's expected. Not the cheapest out there but if you price match you will save $10-$15. Would I buy another? Definitely.

Not too cramped, easy assembly. Seems fairly solid except the front panel seems a little flimsy. The 2 front Power/HDD activity LEDs would probably be annoying in the dark. The side fan cooling the HDDs is a little loud but I could swap it for a dif one or use a fan controller. Right now it's hooked up to the NB fan connnector on the mobo lol. I was also missing an HDD rack and had to go back and get one . I like the way the HDDs are installed. You screw them to the tray, slide em in on the rails and screw them in place. Price match this case and it is well worth it!!!
