This is a quality product (if you are looking for a network switch with more than 8 ports) and a great deal when sale priced, and combined with Netgear rebates.

I got this for hosting LAN parties. So far so good. Hooked it up with an 8 port netgear and all was good. Much gaming was had. The part I didn't like about getting this was the BS rebate process. You apply, and after awhile you get a prepaid visa card worth a certain amount of money. THe card loses value over time so go fill your vehicle with gas or something straight away.

Great when your router no longer suffice with 4 ports to feed your network. Be aware this is not a managed switch, if you simply need to expand your network without a need for a GUI or management then this is a great switch for you.
