No surprises, works as expected. Used this to replace my OCZ sticks which failed and was reimbursed from warranty as they don't make ram anymore.

A decent pair of RAM , have not tried to overclock it but pretty good bang for the buck here. Haven't ever gone wrong with Corsair before, and will definitely continue with them as they continue to produce quality products.

I added this 4GB to my Motherboard Asus P5K with 2GB RAM and Core2 Duo running at 3GHZ (not much of an overclocker) after upgrading from my very slow loading Vista to Windows 8 Home premium. Wow what a difference Win 8 make when combined with 6GB RAM. Loads in 27 seconds flat. Vista would take over 5 minutes and sometimes lomger just to load and be ready to be used. Could not be happier.

I bought two of these to upgrade my seven years old pc, in the hope of revive it for current games, and it didn't succeed. 8GB DDR2 cost more than 16GB DDR3 and did not make the pc much faster. And also my motherboard having great trouble boot up with maximum ram. 3 out of 10 times it failed post screen.

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the lifetime warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
