Tested with jperf and got a solid ~940 mbps speed in both a home and an office network. They could have had a cable come out of the power adapter, instead of having the plug in the whole damn thing in the outlet. Good switch for the price (when on sale).

This is the first switch I've ever bought and I am surely not disappointed. The switch works right out of the box without any software. I hook up all my game systems, my computer and printer to this switch and it works flawlessly. Great product, highly recommended.

I got this to use as a local network to transfer at Gbit speeds via Ethernet, what this plugs into is my WRT54GL (flashed with DD-WRT), which connects to my basement router via Client Bridged. What this will allow me to do now is instead of plugging stuff into my WRT54GL 54Mbps ports, I will be able to plug them into my switch and recieve up to 1Gbit speeds. Works great so far, this PC is showing a green light (Gbit) and the router is showing an orange light (100Mbit) and everything is great. For 34$ you can't go wrong! (79.99 on sale for 59.99 but with Mail in Rebate -> 34.99)
