This card is very small in design like most other NIC cards on the market. The reason that there is a performance issue with this card is because it uses the PCI interface. Have yet to see PCI-E Gigabit cards at consumer level prices so this is the next best thing performance wise. From 2 GA311 connected to a GS105 I'm getting roughly 200Mbit practical throughput. I suspect the PCI interface of the cards are affecting performance. With a regular Fast Ethernet network I was pulling about 50-60Mbit/sec. This is 4x the performance increase. Overall very satisfied with the product.

to a 15% restocking fee. No refunds will be issued for blank media,

printer supplies, paper, projectors (and accessories), appliances,
handhelds, PDAs, notebook computers, special order computers and
special order items.
Defective software, video games or DVDs
will be replaced by the SAME title and format ONLY (and subject
to current availability) within 30 days of the Invoice date. Software,
video games and DVDs may be returned within 30 days only if the
item is UNOPENED (with shrink wrap still intact) at the sole discretion
of NCIX.com.
