This card is a rebranded Audigy. It is not a good card at all. Do not purchase this card if you want an X-Fi card because it's not on the same level as real X-Fi cards. The price is barely acceptable for this card though you can probably get a better Audigy for a few bucks less.

Did virtually nothing for me, I run an Inspiron 531 and the last month or two I've been having annoying studdering and 1-second freezes in audio (and in the case of videos, the video would freeze too). I thought I would buy this to relieve the CPU and stop the studdering. It did not do that, nor did it have any percievable boost in quality, however it did help stabilize my FPS between studdering, finally allowing for 'silky smooth' gameplay, which my PC didn't get before, even at 97 fps. Overall, not worth it if your PC is new, but it may be if you use older components.
