Please note that the industry standard for measuring capacity on flash memory storage products (such as SD cards, USB flash drives, etc) is 1 megabyte (MB) = 1 million (1,000,000) bytes and 1 gigabyte (GB) = 1 billion (1,000,000,000) bytes. Some of the listed capacity is consumed by formatting the device and other internal device functions, and is not available for data storage.
Most operating systems report device storage capacity in binary format in which 1 MB = 1,048576 bytes and 1 GB = 1,073,741,824 bytes; therefore, an operating system will typically report the capacity of a 4GB flash device as ~3.73GB (= 4,000,000,000/1,073,741,824).

I have owned many of these Corsair USB drives in the past. They have always been very reliable. I love the build quality of these flash drives. They are not USB 3.0 fast, but faster transfer speed is not a requirement for me. Overall great value.

Its a USB thumb drive. Thats pretty much it... Use it for flashing BIOS, and updating drivers. Just a note, the cap for the USB thumb drive is easy to lose, so keep it on as much as possible.

What is there to say? It's a USB2 thumb drive that's functional, looks and feels great, and is a solid product overall. I love the fact that if you lose the cap, Corsair replaces it free of charge.

My roommate bought the refurbished version on sale at one of the instore Saturday sales. After 5 months after pulling it out without first ejecting from Windows, the thing became dead. In the process of an RMA even though it says 30 day warranty. I'd give it a single star but can't seem to find the receipt.

I got this drive basically to just copy movie and song files from my desktop to my laptop, and to copy multi-tracked recording data so I can edit on my laptop as well. I did a quick format to NTFS and it worked flawlessly. At $19.94 presently, it's a great price for this. The copy speed seems a lot faster than I was expecting. Quite pleased with this flash drive.

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
