I really like this thing, you don't appreciate it until you get it in your hands and get a good glance. Its design is flawless; just like Zalman's CPU HSFs. If you turn the connectors and the push pins just right you can make it fit on a southsridge too if your layout is similar to mine.
Installed it on a NV4 chipset on a ECS kn1 extrem mobo. I had to sacrifice important fonctionnalities. My mobo died few hours after the install, however I dont think this cooler was related.

I installed this on the nforce4 chipset of my A8N-E. Due to the design, there is limited space to put the little arms. You can't place them along the center of the side of the heatsink, which limits your install options.
Used this to replace the problematic chipfan of the Asus A8N-E. Apparently asus will ship a replacement fan, but no moving parts, no extra noise appealed to me more. Rather fiddly to install, but quite effective at dissipating heat.

This product works fairly well, though if ur using an Nvidia mobo like my 680i SLI, this product might (just might) not be enough for ur temperature ego. On the 680i NB, the Zalman is hot to touch (finger cannot touch for more than 3seconds). So if u want lower temps for ur NB, u'll need some good air circulation in ur case. btw, it took me an hour to install this Zalman.

I used this because my Xigmatek cpu cooler did not clear the stock NB heatsink on a DFI BloodIron mobo. Using this gave me the clearance and reduced my temps from 44C to 37C.

Used to replace the chipset cooler of an aging A8N-SLI based PC. Temps are in my comfort zone (unfortunately I could not compare with previous temps - client PC).
Put that on 2 different motherboard northbrige and one on a fanless mini-itx epia board and drop a few degrees. Bought it for 8$. Solid item !
